Go in search of old crafts, traditional Black Forest houses, customs and long-forgotten treasures. In the southern Black Forest and not far from us, numerous events invite you to rediscover old traditions. The Malerhäusel Christian Gotthard Hirsch is always worth a visit, or – depending on the time of year – you can visit the horse blessing in Todtmoos, the mill day, the Eulogi ride in Lenzkirch or many other interesting events.

Real winter pleasures
Enjoyable winter hikes through the enchanting Black Forest landscape, crystal-clear air and breathtaking views as far as the Alps make your stay in Höchenschwand an experience. Numerous perfectly accessible winter hiking trails, e.g. the panorama trail over the Sonnenhang, the Marienkapellen circular trail, Dreherhäusleweiher are suitable for all fitness levels. Tobogganers, cross-country skiers and downhill skiers also get their money’s worth.
